An AI learning coach, in development

Practice starts with their schoolwork.

A closer look at where your child gets stuck, and what to practice next. Built around their work, their thinking, and the skills underneath.

A skill to check

Count the pieces.
Keep their size.

A fraction mistake may point to an earlier skill.

A wrong answer is a starting point.

The useful question is what led to it. Sidekick is being built to connect a child’s work with the skill they need to practice next.

How Sidekick works

The skill behind the question

An earlier skill can be
the missing piece.

Trouble with fractions may start with how equal parts fit into a whole. Sidekick’s skill graph is designed to trace those connections across grades.

A skill to investigate, with evidence to check it.

About Sidekick

Is Sidekick available yet?

Sidekick is in development. You can explore how it works and try the sample activity on this page. These examples use prepared results.

Which subjects and ages are you starting with?

We’re starting with math and reading for elementary learners, focusing on the skills behind their current schoolwork.

How does Sidekick use a student’s thinking?

The planned system looks at written steps and explanations alongside the final answer. A photo can suggest a pattern. Follow-up questions help test it, without assigning a child an overall grade level from one piece of work.

How will the activities adapt?

AI will adjust examples, questions, and hints within tested activity templates for a selected skill. Students can choose a format, and responses and later review will inform what comes next.

Will it do my child’s homework for them?

The focus is to understand where a student gets stuck, then offer questions and activities they work through themselves. The goal is practice they can apply to the next problem.
